Answer to Burning Question #2 (To read comments from fellow dreamers click here)

We are getting closer and closer to the release of the “Fast Track Your Dream Community”… and I can barely wait. It’s sort of like giving birth – a lot of excitement, a bunch of pain, and a whole bunch of anticipation!

And I’m not the only one who is getting excited – I’ve had all kinds of questions flooding into my inbox about the community. And these are on top of all the comments I’ve been getting here.

In my last update I answered the #1 question about Fast Track… namely: What’s in the Fast Track program? That question didn’t surprise me. What DID surprise me was the huge number of people who asked about the “Dream Team.”

BURNING QUESTION #2:

Can your Outside the Box coaches AKA “The Dream Team” really give individual (and timely) responses to my questions?

ANSWER:

Well, I think this question stems from my initial note in the newsletter about the Fast Track Your Dream Coaches – that note set off a bit of a firestorm of email from my readers.

In case you missed it, for months now I’ve been training a team of “Outside the Career Box” consultants and coaches. The members of this “Dream Team” are going to be answering your individual questions in a password-protected Fast Track Your Dream Forum.

After that announcement, I got all kinds of emails from folks who were absolutely thrilled that they would actually have a place they could go to get their individual questions answered.

But there were also lots of worried emails from people wondering how we could possibly pull that off – after all, when I put a tiny little announcement in my newsletter about the new Fast Track program I was deluged with over 1,200 questions in a matter of hours!

And to tell you the truth that’s something that I have spent a lot of time thinking about as well.

But then I remembered what Barbara Winter says about people wasting time worrying about problems that haven’t happened yet. So I decided to just keep my nose to the grindstone so I could get all of the elements of this program finished.

However, those 1,200 questions got me thinking about this again. So I made a rather RADICAL decision. After all, I am going to ask you plunk down your hard earned money for this program, so I want to make sure it will work for you.

So here is the “radical decision”… I am going to SEVERELY limit the number of spots that are available for this program.

Given the enormous response to the survey, it’s becoming pretty clear that the response to this program could be huge if I didn’t put any limits on it.

But that wouldn’t serve you, and in the end it wouldn’t serve me either.

I am not exactly sure how many spots I will initially release – I am going to go back and sharpen my pencil and consult with my coaches… but right now I am thinking there will be 200 spots available.

Of course, this means that not everyone will get in the program. In fact, if I go with 200 spots, that means less than 1% of the 23,000 people on my newsletter list will be able to get in.

But I think it’s better to disappoint a few folks initially than to bite off more than we can chew – and then not properly serve the people that get in the program.

Now I know that a lot of people are going to be worried about getting in.

All I can see is that right now we are designing a “release system” that will be as fair as possible so that everyone gets an equal chance to get in on the Fast Track Your Dream program.

I will send more information on this as the details get finalized.

And ONE MORE THING… for the folks who get shut out of the program initially, well after a month or two… after things settle down and we get a handle on what our coaches can handle… I am hoping to be able to open the program up to some more people.
